So, I said I had more to say about yesterday and as of yet this morning all three kiddies are still sleeping. So, that makes it a perfect time to blog. Anyway, last night Dee Dee and I went to Ally's last home basketball game. They won! Yeah! Onto the championship game! I have been promising my sister all season that I would make it to one of her games. But, even being that we are in the same town now, it is still amazingly difficult to schedule the time to go around three toddlers and a grumpy husband. So, last night I just went. Reagan was spending time with Nini and Jack stayed home with Chris, who had it pretty easy considering Jack slept the whole time! I on the other hand chased Dee up and down the bleachers and tried to keep her from stealing popcorn(which she can't eat b/c of her reflux) from people sitting nearby. There is also the issue of Grandpa Bill who bought her a sucker and a hotdog and I believe just enjoyed having her there as an excuse to go back to the concession stand. So, I didn't get to see as much of the game as I would have wanted, but what I did see was that Ally has much more athletic ability than I ever had! She is growing up way too fast, and I am as amazed at her beauty today as I was the day my parents brought her home 13 1/2 years ago! Love ya sis!

Trip to the Dentist

Today Reagan's preschool class took a field trip to the dentist. I went along to drive while Nini watched Dee Dee and Jack. (thanks Nini!) As you can see from the pictures, her personality showed. She was the first to volunteer to hop up in the dentist's chair. Maybe b/c she has been to a dentist before. Anyway, good news no cavaties and she was excited to get a new toothbrush. It always amazes me what an outgoing personality she has been blessed with. She loves to be the center of attention! I love watching her interact with the other kids @ school and am thankful that I have the opportunity to do it. I have more to say about today, but maybe I'll blog it tomorrow! Katie

Accidents Happen!

When Kennedy was about a year old she fell off of a rocking chair and chipped her tooth. I knew then and there that this would be my accident prone child. She is always getting some sort of bump or bruise. @ 18 months old she fell and broke her arm, and her luck hasn't changed much since then. Sunday @ grandma's house she was playing on the couch w/ uncle Kevin. When she went to slide off, she tripped on a pillow and smacked her face into the tile floor. I didn't realize she had hurt her lip so badly until I saw the blood! I guess she knew I needed some new pictures of her to post. So, here she is shortly after the fall and again a little while later when, exhausted from crying she fell asleep on that very same sofa!

Bath Time!

Well, I've been waiting on Leah to post pictures of Jack so I could steal them from her, but I guess I'm tired of waiting. She promised to post them this weekend so I'll have them soon! I thought since I was posting I would bring everyone's attention to my additon of a hit counter. It started @ zero which is kind of depressing, but slowly it is inching it's way up. I just thought it would give me an idea of how many people are actually seeing this, and then I can tell Chris not to be so paranoid! So, since I got my new camera I have been taking pictures of everything. Here are some pictures I got during bath time the other night. Since I don't seem to have many pictures of Dee, I thought I should include this one of her and Reagan after their bath. Have a great day!

My Uncle Tom

Just a little note to ask for some prayers for my uncle Tom. Not too long ago he was diagnosed with acute lymphatic luekemia. Not good news, and the prognosis wasn't good either. But, he opted to fight as hard as he could and started three weeks of intense inpatient chemotherapy. The chemo ended last week and they sent him home from the hospital. Unfortunately, they called him yesterday and told him to pack his bags and come back to the hospital. The chemo did not work as well as they would have hoped, and now they want him to start radiation. I know that many family members on Chris' side have dealt with with this horrible thing called cancer before, so this is an all too familiar scenario. For my dad, Tom happens to be his oldest brother and kind of the patriarch of the family. So, any prayers that anyone could offer up for my uncle or his family would truly be apppreciated! Thanks, Katie

Little Angel

Thought I would check in today. It has been a crazy week so far, but it seems like we are all finally starting to feel better! We spent this past Sunday @ Papaw Tim and Nini's and I snapped this shot of Jack taking a snooze on their bed. He just looked so peaceful! Not too much going on @ our house other than the usual laundry and keeping up on the everyday activities of the kids. That is enough to keep me on my toes! I know there are a few people out there who are starting to catch on to the blog, so feel free to pass it on to anyone you think might be interested! Talk too you again soon!

Reagan @ the Carnival

Tonight we took Reagan to the school carnival and it was a blast! She had so much fun. She loved seeing her friends from school. It just so happens that Reagan goes to the same school Chris and I went to when we were little. It is crazy how some things never change. We remember going to more or less the same carnival! It was truly a trip down memory lane. I am amazed by how much I enjoyed watching the wonder in Reagan's face as she experienced it for the first time! She ate popcorn, played games, got her face painted, won brownies @ the cakewalk, and even picked out prizes to take home to Dee Dee and Jack. What a good big sister she is! Here are some pictures from the night...

Jack's first haircut

So, I wanted to take pictures of the kids for Valentine's day and post those, but yesterday I ended up back @ medstat with Kennedy and found outshe has pinkeye and a double ear infection. So, in the spirit of continuing to learn how this blogging thing works, I thought I would post some pictures of Jack's recent haircut. Needless to say he was not happy @ first( and neither was daddy) but give the kid a sucker and he came around. Isn't he just too cute! hard to believe he is already over a year old and walking! Time flies when you're raising three toddlers!

Reagan, Dee Dee, and Jack

*Yes, this picture was taken by My friend Leah, and a link to her blog is on this page :)

Blogging, a new experience

So, my friend Leah has this amazing blog that is full of pictures and updates and if figured if she can find time in her busy schedule... well you get the point. So here it is my venture into blogging. I can't promise that I will always be up-to-date but I will try. So, as of today life is hectic, all three kids are sick in some way or another. Jack is the worst, he has pinkeye and I spent an hour and a half in the medstat waiting room on Monday. So for now we are all just staying inside trying to get better and hoping that Reagan will make it to school tomorrow for her Valentine's day party. I will try to post pictures, but I have always considered myself computer illiterate, so we'll see!
