Today Reagan and I went to the Tri Kappa Spring Style Show, where Nini had asked her to model clothes. This was right up her alley! Any performance related activity and Reagan is in her element. She walked the runway and then danced her way back to the dressing room. She had a great time. She also wore a pretty cream and floral dress but I didn't get any good pictures of it. So here she is showing off the clothes and then afterwards eating w/ Nini. As for the rest of the clan I think we are recovered from the flu. Thankfully Jack and Dee are the only ones who got sick and it only lasted about six hours for each of them. So as long as nobody pukes today I'd say we are in the clear. Have a great week!

Today Reagan's class took a field trip to the post office. To be honest I think it was my favorite field trip yet! I am always amazed at how fast mail can seem to travel and how precise it usually is even though it exchanges hands so many times. It was interesting so see how it all gets sorted and how it gets where it needs to go. The kids had fun too, they all bought their own stamps and mailed letters to themselves so they can see exactly how it works. Reagan's letter should arrive by tomorrow. Here are some pictures from the trip. That is Reagan's friend Izzy who rode in our car today. Usually she is shy and quiet, but today she and Reagan talked the all the way to the post office and the entire ride back to school! The rest of the pictures are of Reagan mailing her letter, which she did all by herself. Maybe I'll let her pay the bills this month! :) Hope everyone has a great weekend, check in w/ us again!

Happy Anniversary to my in-laws Tim and Lili! 32 years ago today they were married! I have always found it very inspirational that in this day and age both Chris' and my parents are still happily married. I wish them many more years of wedded bliss. You are wonderful parents, in-laws, and grandparents! Love you both!

As many of you know Reagan is the performer in the family. Last night we watched her favorite show, American Idol and we also caught a little of Dancing w/ the Stars which is quickly becoming her 2nd favorite. She stood on the coffee table and danced and sang her little heart out! So I thought I would share this little video I took of her this past weekend when we had people over for Chris' birthday. As always, Reagan provided the entertainment for everybody! Who knows maybe one day we will all be able to say we knew her when!

Today is Chris' birthday! Happy Birthday to the husband, the daddy, and the man that we love!
Last night Chris' cousin Jacob came over to visit. We saw him when he first came home but only briefly. It was nice to see him again even if there is less of him to see. Anybody else think he is just a little too skinny? So, the guys stayed busy playing a little poker and a little catch up. Meanwhile I was busy getting some of the kids clothes ready to send to KidsMarket for this weekend. For anybody who isn't aware, KidsMarket is a local consignment sale that they usually only do once a year in the fall. They decided this year to add a spring sale and it is this weekend. Saturday also happens to be Chris' birthday so I am trying to make sure my stuff is all ready to go! Keeping busy as usual! Have a good day, I'm off to do more ironing!

Here is a video of Reagan with her cousin Ava. In case you can't figure it out they are pretending to be @ the ear doctor. Ava had an ear infection this week and apparently it opened up a whole new world of play for her! They were soooo excited to see eachother, they greeted eachother w/hugs and kisses! Reagan waited for it all week, and from what I hear Ava did too. In case you can't tell they had a great time! Hope we see her again soon!

Yesterday @ work Chris hosted the Functional Skills class from Edgewood Middle school. He showed them what it is like to work @ Arby's and what kinds of skills they may need to be able to go out into the work force. It was a good thing to do for these kids who struggle with the everyday and I was really proud of him for doing it. But, when I saw this picture I just had to laugh. Some of you may recognize that the teacher of the class is Matt Thacker. Looking @ these two men I thought when did they both get so old? That may sound horrible but in a way seeing them together reminded me of who Chris was when we first started dating. He was young and carefree, with no responsibilities. It just struck me that he was not the same man who is standing in that picture. He has grown, and matured. He is a wonderful father and a loving husband. And even though he may come across to some people as arrogant, there is still a part of him that's the same kid who was a "junior leader," willing to take time out of his day for a group of special needs kids with nothing to be gained in return. That is why I love him!
So, yesterday Kennedy was having a good time jumping on the couch. She thought that it was so much fun! I told her to stop jumping but, as always she didn't want to hear it. I didn't really think it was a big deal, what was she hurting? Well, she ended up hurting herself. She tried to jump from the couch to the end table and missed. She smacked her cheek on the edge of the table and immediately statred screaming! She wouldn't let me put ice on it but I tried. As you can see, it swelled and looks pretty nasty. When will she learn? Hopefully soon!
This weekend went by so fast! You already saw the pictures from our exciting Saturday night, and we've been on the go ever since! My younger brother J.C. spent the night and I woke up on Sunday and made pancakes for everyone. Then my other brother Shawn and Uncle Kevin came over to drop off a couch they gave us b/c they are moving. Their apt. complex found out they had a dog so they had to scramble to find a new place for the three of them to live. It is good news for peanut, now she can go outside instead of being confined in the bathroom! Hopefully it is motivation for Shawn who has been procrastinating
his search for a new job for a year! Good luck guys! Later on Sunday we went to a birthday party for Chris' nephew Zach. For those of you who don't know, I love family get togethers! Especially with all of those little ones running around. It warms my heart to think about them all growing up together and how close I think they will end up being
when they are older! I took a lot of pictures, so it was hard for me to narrow it down to some of my favorites. But here are a few, and I saved some others to maybe post later. In other news, my Uncle Tom was rushed by ambulance to Indy again on Saturday and his prognosis is not good. Any prayers for him and his family would be greatly appreciated. On a happy note Chris' cousin Jacob got back from "boot camp" on Saturday night and we are looking forward to seeing him again! Like I said it was a crazy weekend!

So, I have been playing around tonight trying to figure out how to do more things on the blog and finally found a way to post this adorable video of Reagan singing. For those of you who know her, you know Reagan loves to sing. I took this video like two weeks ago of her new favorite song. Her very own version of Old MacDonald. She calls it the Grandpa Larry song. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
So, for those of you who don't know Dee Dee has had pretty bad acid reflux almost all of her life. Even though she is on medication, sometimes she still pukes. It is almost always unexpected and unpredictable. That being said, tonight we went to Bogey's for dinner with my mom and dad. We were having a great time, the food was good, the view was beautiful. During dinner Dee Dee fell asleep, oh so cute. She had a long day and she didn't get a nap. Shortly after I took this picture she woke and started whinning. All of a sudden, wham puke everyway! My camera was already on the table and somehow managed to avoid the flow of vomit, so I took another picture. I feel sorry for the waitress who very much earned her large tip. So our quiet evening out turned into an exciting one. Poor Dee had to wear her coat for the rest of dinner, and I ordered a Bailey's!
